About James E Mullins

James has been serving the retirement market of Southeastern North Carolina for over a decade now.  He is a designated Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor and Licensed Insurance Agent.  The CRPC designation is earned by completing a course of study, through the College of Financial Planning, “encompassing pre-and post-retirement needs, asset management, estate planning and the entire retirement planning process using models and techniques from real client situations.   

Additionally, individuals must pass an end-of-course examination that tests their ability to synthesize complex concepts and apply theoretical concepts to real-life situations.”  He is also a graduate of Monmouth University where he received a Batchelor of Science degree in Business Management with concentrations in Economics and Finance. 

James has held an insurance license by the State of North Carolina for over 15 years in Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Medicare, Long Term Care Insurance and Fixed Annuities.  Additionally, he is also annually certified by AHIP for Medicare Part D (Medicare prescription coverage) and Part C (Medicare Advantage Plans).  He is also certified to assist with ACA enrollment.

James has lived in the Wilmington, NC area since 2006.  He has been happily married to his wife, Tiffany, for over a decade. They currently live in Carolina Beach with their two dogs, Tucker a long haired Chihuahua and Dutch an English Shepard.  They enjoy spending their time together in the outdoors and traveling.
